Award-winning writer and director Erica Jones Adams is a Staff Writer on Disney’s animated series ROBOGOBO (2024). She wrote and directed the comedic web-series FUNEMPLOYED. Her comic short LUV U MOM was a finalist for the 2021 Women of Color Filmmakers of Los Angeles Film Competition. Erica received the France Ann and Elaine Foundation Award for her work on the live-broadcast sketch comedy television show LIVE IN THE EAST. Erica is a two-time winner of the Marianne Murphy Women and Philanthropy Award for her stage plays WEAVE and GROSS SALES and an Israel Baran Award finalist for her play THE VERSAILLES. She is also the first ever recipient of the Beverly Robinson Graduate Writing Fellowship at UCLA’s School of Theater Film and Television.
As a film choreographer Erica recently lent her talents to the critically acclaimed Netflix drama TO THE BONE, starring Lily Collins and Keanu Reeves. She was a principal dancer with the Viver Brasil Dance Company and trained and performed with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
